Nov. 6, 2007 Appeal is heard.  Appeal panel has reserved (deferred) its decision.
August 1, 2007 The Law Society appeals the decision of its own tribunal to award Sharon Shore her costs.
June 28, 2007 The hearing panel awards Sharon Shore $91,500 of her legal costs, payable by the Law Society, and held that the entire hearing had been unwarranted.
Aug. 14-18, 2006 A hearing at the Law Society of Upper Canada was held, where the Law Society argued that Sharon Shore was not of good character and should not be allowed to be admitted to the bar.

On August 18, 2006, a Law Society Hearing Panel  found that Sharon was  a person who throughout her entire adult life was possessed of the highest integrity, candour, empathy, and honesty, and that she should be called to the bar.  

Sharon was called to the bar on  September 27, 2006.

During the cross-examination of Sharon by the lawyer for the Law Society, the lawyer pointed out that a statement in Sharon's book, No Moral Conscience, was incorrect.  Sharon has posted a correction here.

Sept. 19, 2005 The College of Nurses of Ontario disciplinary hearing took place on Monday, Sept. 19, 2005. Lisa's two nurses were found to have committed acts of professional misconduct.  The nurses received a one month suspension, but the suspension itself was immediately suspended. The nurses, who had resumed working at the Hospital for Sick Children a long time ago, simply returned to work. 
April/May 2005 Lawyers for the nurses object to the availability of the expert nursing reports on this web site. They approach the Ontario Crown Attorney's office complaining that I obtained these reports illegally, and asking that criminal charges be laid against me.  
Feb. 7, 2005 Article in the Obiter Dicta (Osgoode Hall Law School newspaper), detailing the efforts being made to prevent publication and distribution of the book and to shut down this website.
Jan. 19, 2005 Lawyer for the nurses sends Sharon Shore a letter  demanding she stop distributing the book and shut down this website.  She does not respond. 
Jan. 18, 2005 Lawyer for the nurses sends letter to new internet provider demanding it shut down this website. Internet provider ignores the letter.
Jan. 15, 2005 Globe and Mail column by Christie BlatchfordShe reports that the two nurses who cared for Lisa are back working at the Hospital for Sick Children, in contravention of a written promise made in 2000 to Lisa's family by then-CEO of the hospital, Michael Strofolino. 
Jan. 7, 2005 Nurses' lawyers send a letter to the internet company hosting this web site, demanding it be shut down. 
Jan. 7, 2005   Nurses' lawyers send a letter to the book's publisher, demanding it immediately stop publication.
